T-SHIRT DRESS + MESSY BUN

Hello everyone! This dress is half-off at Nordstrom rack right now (linked above). It's only about $22 and it's really comfortable and cute. I love the color and the pockets def add something to it.These sandals are an absolute favorite of mine. They are just the bomb! They def mirror the Valentino rockstuds but I think they are a little less flashy so are more easily worn with casual outfits. The bag is an old Steve Madden but the Michael Kors that I linked above is crazy similar. It's the same saffiano leather and I actually like it better! ha! The Karen Walker Number One are very hot right now and I personally think they are so cute but the authentic ones are like $250! These dupes are literally exactly the same lol and like $10. I'm kind of a sunglass hoarder lately. Oops! On rare occasions I will splurge on themm but it's hard for me to rationalize dropping hundos on something that likely cost $2 or so to make. That's just me though! I hope you enjoyed today's post and thanks for stopping by! :) XOXO

FLORAL MAXIS FOR SUMMER

MAXI DRESS CRAVINGS / LulusExpressASOS / WEDGES / Steve Madden Dima Wedge Sandal / SUNGLASSES / BP METAL CAT EYE / BAG / Michael Kors Studio Mercer in oyster / Michael Kors Parker Gold tone watch

Hallelujah the weekend is here! I shot in this outfit yesterday about 15 before it started pouring! I didn't even plan on shooting but I got a new lens for my camera (50 mm fixed lens) and couldn't wait to try it out. Learning about photography and having fun with it is about 50% of the reason I am doing this blog. It's really fun and interesting and there is SO much to learn. For example, th difference between a zoom (lens with range ex: 18-55mm) and a fixed lens (ex: 35mm) can make huge diffferences in the look of the photo. With a fixed lens its MUCH easier to bring the subject into focus and blur the background, especially if the subject is close and the setting if further back. Ok, so enough about photography and onto the outfit. The dress is a candies dress I bought a few seasons ago but I think maxis are great for summer and linked 3 that I'm currently craving. I recently got my hands on these wedges and I am a bit obsessed. They are not something I would normally pick out, but I'm glad I got them bc they go with SO many things and have a really unique look. These sunnies are a staple piece of mine and are really flattering. Bonus that they are < $20! I'm def happy I purchased this Michael Kors bag. When it arrived in the mail, I was a little shocked at the size bc it looked way bigger in the photo. BUT it has turned out to be a great addition bc it looks great with so many looks, especially dresses like this, where a large bag isn't the best combo. That's all for today! Happy Saturday! XOXO

COLD SHOULDER

HEELS / Audrey Brooke / DRESS / Romeo & Juliet Couture similar here / PURSE / Louis Vuitton / SUNGLASSES / Ray Ban

My mom and I shot his outfit saturday. I'm def going to be buying a 50 mm or > fixed/prime lens in order to try and capture that blurry background effect that I keep trying to get. I love the details on the dress at the sleeves and (obviously) am a sucker for the cold-shoulder look lately. I, unfortunately could not find in anywhere though even though it was a recent purchase :(. I'm crazy over these pink Ray-Bans ! I love me some pink shades! And these wedge sandals are so cute, comfortable, authentic suede and I found them for $10.99! They weren't that cheap when I purchased them but this was months ago so they are a steal right now. Hope everyone had a great day and thanks for stopping by!

SOME NEW FAV PIECES

PURSE / Michael Kors /SHOES / Jessica Simspon similar here / JEANS / American Rag NECKLACE / Love Always Couture / SUNGLASSES / Le Specs / BRACELET / Michael Kors similar here

Wow, so this photoshoot I did was kind of a disaster! ha! First of all I had charged my battery for hours but must have done something wrong bc my camera was almost dead as soon as I started. I saved the photos in "RAW" withough JPEG, so it took FOREVER to figure out how to convert them to an "editable" format. And a lot of the pics came out soooo grainy bc I was shooting in the shade. I watched a ton of youtube vids yesterday and apparently the shade is great for shoots, but in my experiece, it was a major FAIL. Everything just looked SO washed out; I ended up having to majorly increase the lighting of the photos and contrast just in order for the pics not to looks so blahh. So I'll be sticking to the sun from now on! lol! But anywayyyyy, lets not let that take away from these awesome pieces! For of all these sunglasses are SO freaking hawtt! They are around $60 and def my favorite right now, just super chic. This bag was a lot smaller than I thought it would be when I ordered in online!! haha! I was like ???? BUT the size actually works for me. It's very simple and would be great for a casual outfit like this OR with dresses where you just need a small, simple tote. It def mirrors the Prada saffiano bag to me, especially the larger version. The top was a steal form Marshal's. And these jeans are one of my favsss but I'm losing a little weight so they are getting baggy on me ! :( I suppose I shouldn't complain too much about that though! ha! They are on sale for < $30 too! Happy Saturday!
